The NRHC Dentist conducts a program of general practice dental care with responsibility for examination, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric and adult patients, emphasizing preventive care and instruction in dental hygiene. Provides dental treatment and advice to patients as may be indicated. The dentist will particularly serve in this role as a family dentist and will see patients in all age groups and serve as a consultant in dentistry to other health professions.
Required Qualifications Requires graduation from an accredited school of dentistry; possession of valid D.D.S./D.M.D. License to practice in the State of California. Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of general and pediatric dentistry. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required. Ability to apply modern methods and practices of general four-handed dentistry. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision for patient care and follow-up, and with high productivity. Current CPR and first aid certificate or willingness to be trained required within first (90) ninety days of employment. Bilingual in Spanish preferred; or other languages desirable. Travel as needed. Must have valid drivers license and insurable driving record. Ability to provide quality customer service and to work well with others in a professional manner in a team oriented environment. Must have good reasoning abilities, maintain patient confidentiality, excellent communication and supervisory skills. Must have the ability to work various shifts and occasional Saturday shift if needed. Flexibility in schedule.
