We’re building a next-generation data analytics platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and seeking a DevSecOps Engineer with a strong development background. This role focuses on implementing secure, reliable, and automated infrastructure through code, managing environments from test to staging, and operating robust CI/CD pipelines. You’ll be instrumental in architecting cloud infrastructure, driving operational excellence, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
What You’ll Do: Architect, provision, and maintain GCP infrastructure, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage. Design and manage Terraform configurations and modules to automate infrastructure deployment for both staging and production environments. Build, enhance, and operate CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions with Stackdriver, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK, and other observability tools. Automate repetitive tasks through scripting (Bash, Python, Go) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet). Manage and secure environments across the software delivery lifecycle, ensuring reliable and compliant deployments from test to staging. Collaborate with developers to define deployment strategies, optimize system performance, and troubleshoot production issues. Lead incident response efforts and conduct post-mortem analyses to drive continuous reliability improvements. What We’re Looking For: 4+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or DevSecOps with a developer-first mindset. Deep expertise with Google Cloud Platform services and cloud engineering best practices. Strong experience with Terraform: writing modules, managing state, and integrating with CI workflows. Solid background in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD workflows using industry-standard automation tools. Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go for automation and tooling.
