The Store Supervisor plays a crucial role on our store leadership team as a coach and mentor to teammates, working alongside the Store Manager to achieve operational excellence and profitability. This position also serves as a primary backup for the Assistant Store Manager, leading merchandise standards while guiding and developing staff. Key Responsibilities: Recruit, hire, train, and retain a high-performing team. Analyze daily sales trends to make real-time strategic business decisions. Manage payroll and adjust schedules to optimize productivity. Analyze merchandise reports and direct merchandising strategies for optimal presentation. Understand loss prevention standards; monitor store audit compliance and results. Oversee key operational areas such as Talent, Visuals, and Operations for comprehensive experience across the business. Ensure the store is organized, clean, and well-stocked. Support training teammates in providing a unique service and selling culture. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year of experience in a retail environment. Available to work 40 hours a week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Comfortable with technology, including handheld and mobile devices. Strong communication skills. Ability to stand, lift, walk, and bend while handling up to 25 lbs. during each shift, with or without accommodation. Preferred Qualifications: Previous leadership experience in a retail setting. Purpose of Role: The Store Supervisor significantly contributes to achieving the store's profitability and key performance indicators by ensuring exceptional customer service and operational excellence. This position also acts as a mentor to teammates and serves as the go-to leader in the absence of the Assistant Store Manager, which may include opening and closing responsibilities. Your Impact: Sales & Omni: Assist in driving sales and achieving retail/omni-channel KPI targets. Provide customers with comprehensive information about a diverse range of products. Brand Image & Customer Experience: Support training efforts to foster a unique service/selling culture at Under Armour. Utilize functional expertise to promote sales and customer loyalty. Retail Operations: Train and lead teammates to execute daily operations in alignment with UA policies. Collaborate with store leadership to maintain merchandise presentation and operational standards. Adhere to Loss Prevention policies and report any irregular activities. Act as the Stock Lead in their absence. Promptly communicate any accidents or injuries to store management. Leadership & Team Collaboration: Communicate priorities, sales, and KPI targets to teammates effectively. Support the maintenance of store safety standards and convey any concerns. Observe sales trends and communicate opportunities to store management. Collaborate with store, regional leadership, and HR for onboarding and continuous training. Take a leadership role in a Division of Responsibility (DOR) to improve store efficiency where applicable. Qualifications: Advanced numeracy and literacy skills along with effective communication abilities. Proficient in the local language and basic verbal English skills. Experienced with computers and related technology. Adaptable to new methods and ideas. Knowledgeable in store operations, visual merchandising, stockroom procedures, and risk management. Familiarity with employment laws and compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. Advanced sales experience and a solid understanding of the industry. Requirements: Minimum of one year experience in a sports/apparel and footwear retail environment. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. High school education or equivalent. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends. Physical Requirements: Able to handle or relocate products weighing up to 25 lbs. Capable of standing and moving for extended periods with short breaks. Able to access all areas of the store, including selling floors and stock areas.
