We are seeking a Dispatcher to support daily operations for a feed & commodities trucking fleet. This role focuses on driver communication, load scheduling and route coordination in a fast-paced environment. Experience in trucking, logistics, or agricultural operations is highly preferred.

Base pay range for this position is between $70,000-$75,000/year. In addition to the base salary range presented, this position will be incentive-eligible with a target of 10%.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Coordinating the schedule of truck drivers to ensure shipments are picked up and delivered in a timely manner. Maintaining communication with drivers throughout their shift to monitor progress and troubleshoot problems, and relaying information to the sales team and operations. Ensure accurate trip records are recorded in the Transportation Management System. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Addressing customer concerns or questions related to shipment and resolving any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner. Work with Truck Shop to ensure all trucks are up to date with any inspections, maintenance, and/or repairs. Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes to increase efficiency and productivity. Participates in analysis and review of operating performance. Monitor and track fleet movements using software and systems for better planning. Collaborate with internal and external customers to meet their specific transportation needs. Manage a high volume of phone calls and emails throughout the day with proper and timely responses as needed. Able to participate in periodic work schedules that can include weekend or traditional shift work. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
