Eaton's IS VEH Functions division is currently seeking a FP&A Manager. This is a remote opportunity that can be based from a home office or an approved Eaton location in MI, OH, IN, IL or NC. (Preference will be given to candidates residing in the following states: MI, OH, IN, IL, NC.)
The FP&A Manager is responsible for assisting the VP of Finance, Director, and Senior leadership in conforming and supporting corporate policies, legal requirements and US GAAP of the business. Manage, direct, organize, and control financial activity for a large multi-national business. Interfaces with senior leadership & regional partners to deliver the outputs as requested and required analysis to ensure effective organizational planning. Operates with a Continuous Improvement mindset to drive finance transformation activities and efficiency improvements across the Mobility Group businesses and regions. This role reports to the Mobility Group Finance Director.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $123750.0 - $181500.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:
* Responsible for the timely and accurate submission of the monthly results and rolling forecasts and for providing commentary reflective of the key issues in the business. * Lead the annual Profit Plan and Strat Plan process and preparing / presenting in partnerships with the Director the presentation for executive review * Manage all aspects of restructuring programs including Profit Plan, forecast, actuals, reserve balances, and leadership reporting * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive policy and process improvements * Building proactive reporting tools and analysis * Creating presentations for senior leadership meetings * Leading Finance training and development initiatives * Effectively manage and provide leadership to FLDP * Participating and leading global projects of strategic significance to the Vehicle Group, utilizing direct and indirect resources as required to ensure success * Acting as a liaison between Sector Finance and the Regional businesses * Interact with senior management in a wide variety of domestic and international projects and provide financial analysis as applicable. Lead special projects as needed. * Ensure compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley. * Controller for all Headquarters Functional spend and budgeting. Manage actuals, forecast, and profit plan reporting. * Partner with other businesses in Mobility Group to create standard reporting and consolidate results, working towards One Team.
Qualifications:
Required Basic Qualifications:
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting from an accredited institution * Minimum of five (5) years work experience in progressive accounting/finance * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
* Masters Degree in Business, Finance and/or Accounting from an accredited institution * Ten (10) years experience in accounting/finance * Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) * Experience in manufacturing organization
Skills
* Thorough knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and concepts * Demonstrates professional presence, communicates articulately and confidently * Exhibits leadership in defending a position and handling conflict * Strong analytical and leadership skills * Ability to prepare and analyze financial and operational analyses/reports * Effectively challenges the status quo and champions new and innovative ideas * Acts as a business partner - sees the big picture - provides broad thought leadership * Ability to effectively work in a cross-functional team environment * Working knowledge of financial and ERP systems * Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word software
