Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Forklift Operator for a fast-paced distribution company located in North Austin, TX. In this role, you’ll be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, load, and unload materials, as well as supporting warehouse organization and operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who is safety-conscious, dependable, and thrives in a hands-on environment.

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Operating forklifts to load, unload, and move materials and products

  • Performing daily equipment inspections and reporting maintenance issues

  • Organizing inventory in designated storage areas

  • Assisting with general warehouse duties as needed

  • Following all safety guidelines and workplace procedures

  • Keeping accurate records of inventory movement

What you’ll need:

  • 2-3+ years of forklift operation experience (sit-down and stand-up)

  • Current forklift certification (preferred but not required)

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety

  • Dependable, team-oriented, and punctual

Perks:

  • $18/hour pay

  • Monday–Friday schedule | 8:00AM – 6:00PM
