Job Summary:

The Food and Beverage Attendant position requires you to primarily provide great service to the golf members and guests. The role will be responsible for the opening/closing, stocking, cleaning, and overall presentation of both food and beverage stations as well as servicing requested beverages throughout the golf course. This role will contribute to the organization as an active business partner that is responsible for supporting the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.

Essential Functions:

Job duties include, although are not limited to:

  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner and always maintain a professional image
  • Greeting all guests arriving and departing Food and Beverage Stations as well as on the golf course
  • Follow Food & Beverage proper procedures standardized by managers and chefs
  • Maintain cleanliness of all outside service/staging areas
  • Regularly empty trash from receptacles at both comfort stations
  • Check restrooms on each trip to ensure proper working bathroom equipment and stocking
  • Maintain an adequate supply of guest chits, pencils, and water at all times
  • Circulate the golf course to deliver food and beverage selections to members and guests
  • Provide fresh towels to guests and remove any soiled towels
  • Daily opening, proper stocking, cleaning, and closing of Food and Beverage Stations
  • Assisting any members with water bottles when circulating the golf course
  • Cleaning of all equipment, tools, and supplies and maintaining equipment in good working order while following all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, department, and County health department
  • Working as a team and effectively communicating with management and service staff to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other associates

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education required
  • Experience in hotel or restaurant environment with a strong emphasis in customer service and food and beverage
  • Must be of 18 years of age
  • Ability to speak, read, write and understand English, the primary language used in the workplace
  • Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work tasks are performed indoors and outdoors.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks.
  • Requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing.
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.
  • Must be physically able to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment as well as delicate china and glassware, up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
