About the Role:

Join South Shore Women's Medical Associates as a File Clerk, where your organizational skills will help us maintain a smooth and efficient office environment. Responsibilities:

Organize and maintain patient files and medical records.

Ensure accurate filing of documents in accordance with established protocols.

Retrieve and prepare files for medical staff as needed.

Assist in the scanning and digitization of paper records.

Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Perform regular audits of files to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Support administrative staff with various clerical tasks.

Communicate effectively with team members to streamline filing processes.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous experience in a medical office or administrative role preferred.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
