Job description
We are seeking a motivated Field Service Technician (FSR4) to play a critical role in supporting and maintaining our customers' field operations. In this dynamic, hands-on role, you will be tasked with troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining a variety of electrical systems and industrial controls at various client locations. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction through effective technical support, preventive maintenance, and a commitment to excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Service Support: Conduct on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of power systems and electrical equipment. Manage inspections, repairs, and replacements of essential components like transformers and circuit breakers. Support system startups and commissioning to ensure optimal operation. Customer Interaction & Support: Act as the primary technical contact during service visits, fostering positive relationships and long-term partnerships with customers. Train clients on system operations and document all service activities comprehensively. Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service delivery, maintain detailed records of all service work, and utilize technology for remote issue resolution to reduce downtime. Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to company safety protocols and industry standards, participate in safety audits, and maintain necessary safety certifications. Ongoing Improvement: Stay informed on industry trends and technologies to enhance service capabilities. Provide valuable feedback to management regarding customer experiences and service processes.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred. Certifications: NFPA 70E, OSHA 30, or similar certifications beneficial. Experience: 5-7 years in field service, with a focus on electrical systems and industrial controls. Proven ability to handle complex system maintenance and troubleshooting. Skills: Excellent troubleshooting abilities, proficiency with field service and office software, strong communication skills, and effective time management. Travel: Frequent travel required, including overnight stays. Other: Valid driver's license with a clean record and a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
