Our client, a beauty company, is looking for a Sales Consultant to join their team in NYC!
Responsibilities
Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
Drive lead conversion by turning prospects into lasting, strategic partnerships.
Proactively identify new client opportunities while developing trusted, long-term relationships to support continued growth.
Strengthen and expand relationships with existing salon partners to maximize account potential.
Execute an effective call cycle strategy across both current and prospective accounts.
Collaborate closely with sales and education teams to optimize sell-through initiatives.
Maintain organized call plans and run lists aligned with partner expectations.
Consistently achieve sales objectives and successfully execute product launches.
Deliver engaging and educational product training sessions to partners.
Support the sell-in and sell-through of new programs, promotions, and business initiatives.
Assist with salon merchandising, in-store promotions, and digital sales strategies.
Participate in all company meetings, trainings, and conferences as required.
Support the coordination and execution of local and national brand events.
Meet and exceed established revenue targets, KPIs, and new account goals.
Experience and Qualifications
At least three years of related sales experience; background in outside sales or the professional beauty industry is an advantage.
Highly driven, self-directed, and motivated by performance and competition.
Proactive, growth-focused mindset with a strong emphasis on new business development.
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to navigate shifting priorities and evolving market conditions.
Genuine interest in and enthusiasm for the beauty and cosmetics space.
Familiarity with CRM platforms; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport.
Results-oriented with a consistent focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Effective problem-solver who can assess client needs and manage expectations.
Demonstrated ability to close deals and identify opportunities to address customer challenges.
Solid analytical and critical-thinking capabilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and comfortable learning new software systems.
