Opportunity to work as part of a diverse safety team to help strengthen safety culture and improve hazard awareness for a world leader in manufacturing technologyRole and ResponsibilitiesHere's What You'll be Responsible For:- Ability to anticipate, identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices- Develop hazard control designs, methods, procedures and programs- Implement, administer and advise others on hazard control programs- Measure, audit and evaluate the effectiveness of hazard control elements- Evaluation of regulatory compliance associated with safety programs/policiesShift: D-shift,scheduled for 12 hour shift, Wed - Fri and alternate Saturdays (Nights)Skills and QualificationsHere's What You'll Bring to Samsung:- 2+ years experience in Health and Safety- High School diploma/GED required, Associate of Science degree preferred- Pursuit of professional safety designation a plus```{=html}```- Familiarity with hazardous materials, related regulations and NIOSH standards- Working knowledge of OHSAS 18001,ISO 14001, 50001, and 45001- Familiarity with OSHA Regulatory/Reporting Guidelines- Proficient communications skills regarding presentation, coaching/mentoring, and working with others- Capable of risk recognition, and countermeasure development.- Proficiency in Microsoft software programs#LI-NF1The currentbasesalaryrange for this role is between $22.50 and $37.67 Individualbasepayrateswill depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience.
