Position Overview
This role is ideal for a technician with a strong background in commercial and residential installations, capable of working independently and solving complex technical issues. You'll install, service, and maintain a wide range of integrated security systems for clients who depend on precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Install and service advanced low-voltage systems, including:
Intrusion alarms
Commercial fire and life safety systems
Access control and keyless entry systems
IP-based video surveillance
Smart building/home automation technologies
Perform system diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance
Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
Provide client training and support on system operation
Maintain accurate documentation and service records
Ensure work complies with industry codes and company standards

Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on experience installing and servicing security and life safety systems
Strong understanding of NFPA, NEC, and local code requirements
Proficiency with major platforms such as Honeywell, DMP, DSC, Alarm.com, Exacq, etc.
Ability to manage projects, troubleshoot complex systems, and deliver high-quality work independently
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must be able to pass a background check
