Position Overview

This role is ideal for a technician with a strong background in commercial and residential installations, capable of working independently and solving complex technical issues. You'll install, service, and maintain a wide range of integrated security systems for clients who depend on precision and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities
  • Install and service advanced low-voltage systems, including:

    • Intrusion alarms

    • Commercial fire and life safety systems

    • Access control and keyless entry systems

    • IP-based video surveillance

    • Smart building/home automation technologies

  • Perform system diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance

  • Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation

  • Provide client training and support on system operation

  • Maintain accurate documentation and service records

  • Ensure work complies with industry codes and company standards

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience installing and servicing security and life safety systems

  • Strong understanding of NFPA, NEC, and local code requirements

  • Proficiency with major platforms such as Honeywell, DMP, DSC, Alarm.com, Exacq, etc.

  • Ability to manage projects, troubleshoot complex systems, and deliver high-quality work independently

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

  • Must be able to pass a background check
