Adult Emergency Department

Positions: Full Time, Part Time, PRN or seasonal Volume: 80,000 ED Beds: 60 Admission Rate: 32% Admissions by: Hospitalists Patients/Hour: 1.7 Physician Coverage: 69 hrs daily APP Coverage: 50 hrs daily APP Shifts:Fast track: 8a-6p; 10a-8p (x2); 4p-2a; 5p-5a Adult ED Extension: 8a-5p; 3p-12p

Pediatric Emergency Department

Position: Seasonal PRN Volume: 31,000 Admission Rate: 5% Admissions by: Pediatric Hospitalists Patients per Hour: 1.5-2 Physician Coverage: 27 hours daily Physician Shifts: 9 hours APP Coverage: 10 hours daily (20 hours in winter) APP Shifts: 9a-7p; 6p-1a Pedi ED Beds: 14 Pedi Hospital Beds: 33 NICU: 42-bed, Level III PICU: 12 beds

Required Qualifications:

One or more years post-graduate professional clinical experience in hospital Emergency Department Board-certified Physician Assistant or Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP-C) AZ PA or NP license DEA certificate BLS, ACLS & PALS (NRP if working in Pedi ED)
