Estimator / Project Manager – Structural & Miscellaneous Steel Location : Pittsburgh, PA Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Estimator / Project Manager specializing in structural and miscellaneous steel to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in estimating, project management, and overseeing steel construction projects from initial proposal through project completion. Key Responsibilities :
Prepare detailed estimates for structural and miscellaneous steel projects, including labor, materials, and equipment costs. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of projects. Work closely with clients, contractors, and the internal team to coordinate project requirements and deliverables. Analyze and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural and miscellaneous steel estimating and project management. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding steel construction plans. Strong project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Tekla experience a plus Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
