Closing Date: 08/18/2025 The Appleton Area School District has a position available for a 1.0 FTE (100%) English Learner Teacher at Houdini Elementary School beginning with the 2025-2026 school year.
The EL instructor is responsible for providing direct, content-based EL services to students. The EL instructor must have knowledge of second language acquisition and high quality literacy and language instructional practices. The delivery model is flexible, and it may include pull-out services or co-teaching. The EL instructor communicates regularly with regular education and special education teachers to support teachers and students.
Certification Required: English as a Second Language (1395)
