Electronic Assembler

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electronic Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling electronic components and systems, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. This role requires proficiency in various assembly techniques, including PCB assembly and surface mount technology, as well as a solid understanding of electrical wiring and logic controllers.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble electronic components and systems according to specifications and IPC 610 standards.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools to fabricate and assemble parts efficiently.
• Perform quality checks using an ohmmeter and other testing equipment to ensure functionality.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot assembly issues and implement solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Follow all safety protocols while working with electrical components and machinery.
• Document assembly processes and report any discrepancies or defects in materials or workmanship.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in electronic assembly or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with PCB assembly, surface mount technology, and electrical wiring techniques is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assembly quality is a plus.
• Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics is advantageous.
