Join our team and help deliver accurate, competitive bids for residential, commercial, and industrial projects across all facets of the electrical trade.

About the Role: Were seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to prepare, review, and submit project estimates for Division 26 (Electrical), 27 (Communications), and 28 (Electronic Safety & Security). You will analyze blueprints and specifications to determine project needs, provide material and labor costs, and ensure proposals are both competitive and profitable.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assess material costs. Determine contractor and labor needs. Prepare and submit bids. Maintain cost databases. Budget future projects as needed. Process Change Orders in McCormick. Hand-off estimates to Project Managers when awarded.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: Assessment & analysis skills to deliver accurate estimates. Highly detail oriented. Strong verbal and written communication skills and relationship building skills. Advanced mathematical skills. Solid organization and time management skills a must. Experience with estimating software

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 2-5 years of estimating or similar experience. Prior experience as a licensed electrician, degree in construction management, or equivalent. Former experience in leading projects and teams (Foreman/Journeyman). Valid Drivers License.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Prolonged periods of working at a desk/drawing table. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.

Standard working hours: 7:00 am 3:30 pm. The nature of this job may require working past stated hours. Estimating projects is timeline. based and these dates need to be met for consideration. May need to be on project site as needed or attending bid meetings.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Tavel required as needed.
