Job Details

We are seeking an Electrical Estimator to Join our Team. Successful candidates will have a background working as an Electrician or Electrical Engineering with an Electrical Contractor or Commercial Construction Firm. Work will consist of installation, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors and associated materials and equipment within the commercial, industrial and residential electrical industry.

Requirements:

4+ years of electrical experience
Estimation Software including ConEst Intellibid & Bluebeam Revu Desired
Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring and electrical codes
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Perform mathematical calculations
Diagnose and resolve problems
Ability to use hand and power tools
Able to use ladder and work with heights
Must have a current driver's license and reliable transportation
Must posses a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent training
Must be able to successfully pass a drug test
Must have acceptable criminal background checks (Act 34, Act 114 and Act 151)

Duties:

Installs and repairs electrical equipment and fixtures
Installs various types of raceway and cable tray systems
Troubleshoots motor and control systems
Performs routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
Adheres to all quality and safety codes
Demonstrates safe work habits and proper care of tools and equipment
Interprets blueprints, schematics and manufacturers' specifications
Instructs apprentices and assistants in the techniques and procedures employed in the electrical trade; inspect apprentices' work to determine that they follow the necessary operations and that works conforms to specifications
Supervises (1) or more apprentice(s)
