SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS
Actively involved in all duties for procedures related to assure good quality of finished product for the manufacturing of PCBs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Using a variety of microscopic viewing equipment to analyze finished product printed circuit boards.
Reporting on the results of visual and microscopic inspection.
Assist the quality engineering team with various projects as needed.
Provide some light maintenance to the equipment required for this position.
Evaluation of coupon from our working panels, in-process or finish product.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to department supervisor and Director of Quality.
QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Standing for long periods of time is required.
Exertion of up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and FAX machines.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is located in a lab setting which generally is a comfortable work environment. There may be times when this position requires the individual to spend some time in a manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dirt and chemicals.
Training will likely take place on Days with a schedule along the lines of 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Once training is completed, the standard schedule will fall into more of a split shift along the lines of 12:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
