We are looking for a full-time CDL A Truck Driver in Ness City, KS, to deliver crude oil to CHS customer locations in a safe and efficient manner. *This role is eligible for a $3,000 sign on bonus. Responsibilities Deliver crude oil from our CHS customer locations to our terminals in a safe, punctual, and efficient manner. Measure crude oil at the lease location in accordance with company measurement policies. Manage a regional driving route. Complete daily maintenance report and notify shop supervisor of any needed repairs. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections as well as loading and unloading products. Follow all guidelines and regulations for hauling crude oil and other commodities. Maintain electronic logs and on-board computer with each shipment. Utilize hoses for loading and unloading. Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Work extended hours in-season to meet business demands. Schedule includes rotating weekends and potential slip seating. Minimum Qualifications (required) Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsement 2+ years of verifiable tractor trailer experience Must meet minimum age requirement Ability to read, write and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals Additional Qualifications Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
