The District Property Manager is responsible for the business plan execution for an assigned portfolio of properties with direct oversight by the Senior Regional Manager or Operations Director. They will have a proven track record in managing a diverse portfolio of properties, be a motivator, a good communicator, and a hands-on manager. District Property Managers have direct accountability over Property Managers and are responsible for the execution of all corporate policies and procedures and to meet and/or exceed client expectations. The District Property Manager must demonstrate strong client and team management skills. They must possess the ability and willingness to develop, train, and mentor lower-level managers.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to stand and walk for extended or continuous periods of time. They must be able to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools and may be required to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. The employee may also be regularly required to remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time; regularly operate office machinery. The employee must be able to travel up to 60% of the time. Travel may vary in frequency and duration. The employee must demonstrate the ability to exert up to 20 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
