Superior Industrial Fire Services, Inc. is a subsidiary of Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Services, Inc. We contract with local municipalities and industrial sites to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue and/or Fire Services. Responsibilities
Maintain Wood River Refinery Safety Training annually. Maintain CPR/AED certification, renewed as needed. Answer non-emergency phones using quality Customer Service to assist callers with proper information and guidance. Answer Emergency Response phone lines in a calm, courteous, and professional manner using outlined protocols. Obtain all necessary information from telephone callers to determine the incident location and proper response/resources from emergency response teams. Monitor and operate two-way radio communications. Dispatch security and emergency response personnel as needed. Notifies appropriate command staff and assets during emergency events. Monitor and operate multiple computer systems in dispatch console. Monitor and operate closed circuit camera systems. Maintain situational awareness of local weather events, resource status, significant incidents, planned events, etc. Process and complete daily shift reports and file appropriately. Follows directions and instructions given by supervisor. Maintain cleanliness and order in offices and waiting areas. Communicate any deficiencies, safety concerns, incidents to assigned supervisor. Verify Identification, Background check, Drug Test Status, Compliance Training and modify/update badges as needed for existing contractors Complete all assigned tasks provided by supervisor. Qualifications Minimum age requirement of 18 years or older Must possess High School diploma or equivalent Must possess valid Driver's License Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check Successful completion of pre-employment Safety Training Must obtain Transportation Workers' Identification Card (TWIC) Must have at least one (1) year of data entry, dispatching, or other telecommunications experience Must have ability to speak clearly and concisely, providing detailed information under stressful circumstances.
