ABOUT THE POSITION: We are seeking a dynamic and accomplished Director or Partner here at Anchin to expand our Regulatory Compliance and Investigations (RCI) practice. This individual will play a key role in expanding our advisory services by driving strategic growth initiatives, leading high-impact client engagements, and mentoring a team of professionals. The ideal candidate brings deep technical knowledge in regulatory compliance, corporate investigations, and forensic accounting. A strong track record in business development and client relationship management is required. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and manage complex RCI engagements, including internal investigations, regulatory response, fraud risk assessments, compliance program development, and forensic accounting. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients across various industries, providing insights on evolving regulatory environments and government enforcement trends. Ensure high-quality deliverables, adherence to deadlines, and client satisfaction on all projects. Drive new business opportunities through networking, relationship development, and participation in industry events and thought leadership. Collaborate with firm leadership to develop go-to-market strategies and service offerings aligned with client demand and market trends. Expand the RCI practice's footprint by cultivating long-term client relationships and cross-selling firm-wide capabilities. Lead, coach, and mentor a team of consultants and senior professionals within the RCI group while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture that values diversity, integrity, and innovation. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, JD, or CFE certification required. Experience: 15+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, forensic accounting, investigations, or related advisory work. Prior experience working in government agencies is required. Proven success in a business development. Strong knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory frameworks (e.g., DOJ, SEC, OFAC, FCPA, AML, DOL, MWBE, NYS 421-A, 485-X white collar defense, etc.). Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex investigations across industries. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong commitment to delivering client value and growing practice areas.
