Sapphire Health Services is currently seeking a dedicated team member to join our team and uphold our commitment to excellence.JOB SUMMARY:The Director of Nursing (RN), will serve as the clinical leader of our skilled nursing facility, overseeing the delivery of comprehensive nursing care to our residents. This position is responsible for coordinating and supervising all aspects of nursing practice, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting a culture of excellence and patient safety. The Director of Nursing (RN) role is instrumental in fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment where nursing staff are empowered to provide high-quality, person-centered care.RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide leadership and strategic direction to the nursing department, fostering a culture of clinical excellence, teamwork, and continuous educationOversee the training and development of nursing staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels and competency to meet resident needsFollow and implement Sapphire policies, procedures, and clinical protocols to ensure the highest standards of resident care and satisfactionCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop individualized care plans for residentsMonitor and evaluate nursing care outcomes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing quality improvement initiatives as neededEnsure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations governing nursing practiceServe as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and clinical expertise to enhance professional growth and developmentParticipate in interdisciplinary meetings, care conferences, and quality assurance activities to promote resident-centered care and interdisciplinary collaborationFoster positive relationships with residents, families, and staffUtilize standard precaution knowledge and infection control measures where requiredKnowledge of and ability to conform to the applicable law, rules, and regulationsGuide staffing proceduresOrganize and coordinate admission, nursing, and patient care proceduresOther Duties as AssignedREQUIREMENTS:Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice Proven leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting, with a track record of effectively leading and managing nursing teamsStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to develop and implement comprehensive care plans based on resident needsThorough understanding of nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement principlesExcellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team membersCommitment to providing compassionate, person-centered care and advocating for the needs and preferences of residentsEMPLOYEE BENEFITS:Benefits of being a Sapphire Health Services employee include, but is not limited to:PTO401(K)Medical/Health InsuranceDental Insurance Vision InsuranceBirthday/Holiday PayWellness FundUniform FundLongevity BonusesQuarterly Vacation DrawingTuition ReimbursementHOW TO APPLY:At Sapphire Health Services we are dedicated to creating a supportive and enriching environment for both our residents and our team members.
