DC Government Agency has a long-term Data Entry Clerk position open through the end of the fiscal year. This is a full-time, contract opportunity onsite at 64 New York Ave NE Washington, DC location. 40 hours per work week, paid holidays, and sick leave accrual included!
The Data Entry Clerk/Social Services Representative shall conduct triage and outreach for youth and their families. Duties should include but are not limited to: a. Contacting families to conduct triage, linking families with resources, and connecting schools and community programs with families.
The Data Entry Clerk/ Social Services Representative shall maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures. a. Verifying the entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, or reentering data to ensure accuracy. b. Recording all interactions with clients into the agency's client information system. c. Securing information by storing all documentation in the agency's client information system.
The Data Entry Clerk/ Social Services Representative shall uphold program effectiveness and overall integrity a. Maintaining efficient operations by following policies and procedures. b. Reporting system or process changes needed to ensure consistency and accuracy. d. Adhering to stated policies and procedures to maintain confidentiality and privacy of information.
The Data Entry Clerk/ Social Services Representative shall complete other duties as assigned, including: a. Serving clients as necessary by understanding needs; directing them to appropriate program staff, signage, or forms; and responding to questions as necessary. b. Providing administrative support activities as directed, such as generating copies, refiling forms, managing minimal back-office lists, organizing files, disposing of sensitive client documentation securely, or similar tasks.
