Staff Management Group is seeking a Customer Service Representative for our client in Elizabeth, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.


Schedule:

  • 1st Shift: 8:30AM - 5PM
  • Monday - Friday
  • Plus Overtime


Pay Rate:

  • $24 / hour


Job Summary:

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our order management team. This full-time, on-site role is responsible for entering customer orders, resolving inquiries, and providing professional, proactive service to clients, sales reps, and third-party vendors. Ideal candidates will bring strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills in a sales-driven or customer-focused environment.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter customer orders in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Handle incoming calls and emails in a professional, friendly, and timely manner
  • Confirm customer-specific pricing to ensure accuracy and transparency
  • Communicate proactively with customers to address inquiries and resolve issues
  • Collaborate closely with sales representatives and brokers to exceed service expectations
  • Provide timely feedback to management and sales teams regarding service issues or customer concerns
  • Coordinate order releases with third-party warehouses and maintain daily communication
  • Work with internal departments to resolve pricing discrepancies and customer requests
  • Maintain a positive, customer-first attitude while managing multiple tasks independently
  • Support overall team efforts to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction


Job Requirements:

  • MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience in customer service (sales-driven setting preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; willing to learn additional software programs
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Solid math, typing, and data entry skills; ability to perform basic arithmetic operations
