Position Overview: We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a skilled nursing facility (SNF). Key Responsibilities:
Assist Occupational Therapists in providing therapeutic interventions to patients Help implement treatment plans focused on improving patients' functional abilities Guide patients through exercises and activities designed to enhance their daily living skills Document patient progress and collaborate with the care team to adjust treatment plans as needed Educate patients and their families on techniques for maintaining and improving function Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients Qualifications: Valid COTA license in Virginia Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Compassionate and patient-focused approach Ability to follow treatment plans and work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Why Choose MedAdventures?
