Corporate Associate Attorney

Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a globally renowned law firm with over 500 attorneys and 1,000 employees. We are assisting them in their search for a Corporate Associate to join their Startup and Venture Capital group. You will work with top-tier clients and develop expertise in a fast-paced, dynamic practice. You will provide legal services to technology and life sciences companies at all stages of development, from early startups to publicly traded corporations.

IDEAL CANDIDATE: 3 years of experience in sophisticated corporate law practice, specifically focused on startup, venture capital, and emerging company representation. Strong understanding of venture capital financing, corporate governance, M&A, and private equity. Experience advising startups, emerging companies, and venture capital investors on corporate governance, financing rounds, equity structure, and M&A transactions. Experience with, or affinity for, technology and/or life sciences companies is preferred.

REQUIREMENTS: Top law school credentials with excellent academic performance. Active NY BAR membership or eligibility to waive in. Draft and negotiate corporate documents, including term sheets, stockholder agreements, investor rights agreements, and other related agreements. Support clients in a range of transactions, including financings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships. Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Salary: $250,000 - $370,000 Healthcare, Life Insurance, Health Savings Accounts, Flexible Spending Accounts, and Wellbeing A discretionary bonus for eligible employees may also be available based on performance
