About the Position Cook/Food Service Coordinator (Hybrid)
Under the supervision of the Executive Chef/Sous Chef, the Food Service Coordinator/Cook hybrid role is responsible for coordinating the preparation, production, and presentation of hot foods, pantry, and bakery items. This position is responsible for daily food rotation, labeling, and ensuring the cleanliness of the entire kitchen. The role requires maintaining high standards of cleanliness, quality, and efficiency while complying with health and safety regulations.
Your Impact Will Include:
Prepare, label, and produce hot foods, pantry items, baked goods, and catered menu items.
Maintain clean and safe work areas, equipment, and food-handling practices in compliance with health codes.
Monitor inventory, rotate stock, and ensure proper labeling and storage of all food items.
Set up and break down food stations for daily meal service and special events.
Safely handle approved chemicals and follow all cleaning and sanitation procedures.
Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing food deliveries.
Adapt to fluctuating operational demands while maintaining quality and service standards.
Collaborate professionally with team members and leadership to support daily operations.
Performing additional duties as assigned to support our mission.

Requires the ability to lift, carry, or move objects up to 30 pounds
Some days will require long periods of sitting, standing, or walking.
