RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop effective relationships with president, local managers and line of business leaders to determine goals and strategy for each communityEstablish professional connections within each community in region such as chambers, United Ways, foundations, economic development, and tourismStrengthen knowledge of the community and non-profits in order to be proactive/reactive to the changing needsAnalyze all community donations for impact and opportunities for additional involvement (volunteers/speakers/donation of promo items)Manage administrative tasks for region, including but not limited to, community checklists and tracking and budgetBuild volunteerism in the community through the STARS programWork with Human Resources and business line leaders on individuals with growth potential to fill board openings with local community non-profitsOrganize representation for the bank in the community at public eventsUnderstand the business objectives for all bank events working with Central Marketing to identify and develop goalsManage all logistics of the events enlisting help as neededRepresent the bank at events by participating in professional networkingSupport region by creating, posting, and monitoring relevant, local content for social media and intranetIndividually and if applicable, as a manager, participate in identifying, measuring, monitoring, controlling and mitigating departmental and enterprise-wide risksMaintain awareness of and adherence to Bank's compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasksDeliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standardsOther duties as assignedCOMPETENCIESInterpersonal/Customer Service SkillsWritten and Verbal CommunicationAbility to understand and follow directionsAdaptable to changeBasic Computer SkillsOrganizational Skills/Detail OrientedAble to Multi-task or Juggle PrioritiesCreativityAbility to build collaborative relationshipsComfortable with public speakingEDUCATION - CERTIFICATIONS - WORK EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor's Degree in field related to communication preferred3 to 5 years of experience in marketing, public relations, or sales requiredExperience with small to medium sized event planningUnderstanding of bank's products and services requiredSCHEDULEOffice hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This position is part time and hourly. Additional evenings and Saturdays required throughout the year based upon event schedules. This is a hybrid position. Some scheduled onsite hours are required. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTSTravel throughout assigned region is required; throughout bank's total footprint as needed and determined by business need.
