About Company A respected financial institution is seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Officer to originate, develop, and manage a diverse portfolio of commercial lending relationships. This individual will play a critical role in driving loan growth, delivering exceptional member service, and establishing strong community partnerships. Qualifications Candidates must have an existing commercial loan portfolio. Strong background and knowledge of commercial products and services as well as applicable regulations and requirements. 3-5 years of experience in commercial or business lending and servicing within a progressive and driven financial services company. Proven success in a sales and production position within the financial services industry. Key Responsibilities Proactively market and develop new commercial loan opportunities to meet defined production and growth targets. Act as the primary point of contact for borrowers throughout the loan process, ensuring clear communication and a seamless experience from application through closing and beyond. Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective members, external partners, and referral sources to foster long-term growth and retention. Represent the organization within the local business community, enhancing visibility and reinforcing the institution as a lender of choice. Originate and process commercial loan applications, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. Remain current on market trends, lending regulations, and product innovations to ensure competitive offerings and informed service. Cross-sell complementary financial products and services to meet member needs. Effectively manage an assigned loan portfolio, ensuring timely reviews, renewals, and risk mitigation practices. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously improve the commercial lending experience and product delivery.
