Pay: $25.00 per hour JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Commercial Driver responsible for the safe delivery and pickup of containers at various customer locations. Your role is crucial in ensuring an efficient and incident-free operation while building and maintaining excellent customer relationships. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Safely operate a commercial truck with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers at customer sites, adhering to all safety protocols. Conduct thorough pre and post trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift, logging results systematically. Accommodate additional deliveries as necessary to support business needs. Utilize company handheld devices for efficient delivery verification and navigation. Operate a forklift and/or overhead crane as required. Maintain the cleanliness and presentability of containers before delivery to customers. Handle rental paperwork and payment coordination with customers effectively. Communicate proactively with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer inquiries and issues; document relevant driver notes as needed. Perform necessary repairs on containers and lifts both in the field and at the storage center. Provide backup support for storage center operations as needed. Keep the truck cab clean and free from debris inside and outside. May be assigned additional duties as required. MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES Typically reports to Management with direct supervisors including the Market Manager or Territory Manager. This position is NOT responsible for the management of other employees (i.e., hiring/termination, pay decisions, or performance management). JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Valid CDL Class B License required, with no air brake restriction. Must maintain a current/valid driver’s license. Must meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards. Must be at least 21 years of age (insurance requirement). Possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or the ability to obtain a minimum of a 1-year certification (DOT requirement). Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software is preferred. Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties. Or possess an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
