Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CNC Machinist role in Troutdale. Key Responsibilities: Operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce parts to tight tolerances. Set up machines, load tooling, and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance and part accuracy. Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements. Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools. Perform routine maintenance on machines and keep work areas clean and organized. Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with team members to resolve production challenges. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including setup sheets and inspection records. Follow safety procedures and ensure adherence to company quality standards and production schedules. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or technical certification preferred. 2+ years of CNC machining experience, specifically with both milling and turning operations. Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Flexibility to work swing shift and occasional overtime as needed. Familiarity with G-code, M-code, and CNC programming/editing is a plus.
