CNC Lathe Operator / Machinist 2nd Shift

Our client, a leader in precision manufacturing, is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator / Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Lathe Operator / Machinist, you will be part of a dedicated manufacturing team supporting high-quality production. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Chesterfield, MO

Pay Range: $24/hr to $30/hr

Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM 10:30 PM)

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and CNC mills to machine metal components.
• Write, test, and adjust CNC programs to ensure optimal performance.
• Fabricate custom fixtures when needed to support machining operations.
• Perform machining tasks such as center drilling, drilling, reaming, tapping, boring, and milling.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools and complete quality checks.

What's Needed?

• Proven experience as a CNC lathe operator or machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently on 2nd shift.
