Job Description
We are seeking a
Clinical Service Manager
to serve as a field‑based clinical expert supporting patients, healthcare providers, and regional teams across Southern California. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality education, personalized product training, and clinical guidance for cutting‑edge diabetes management technology.
The Clinical Service Manager plays a vital role in supporting patient therapy starts, building clinical confidence among providers, and ensuring successful integration of medical devices into diabetes care practices. Work is primarily conducted in clinics, healthcare offices, and the field, with regular travel throughout the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Build strong relationships with endocrinologists, primary care providers, diabetes educators, and care teams.
Educate healthcare professionals on diabetes management, insulin pump therapy, and technology workflows using evidence‑based clinical practices.
Schedule and deliver individualized patient training sessions tailored to treatment plans and experience levels.
Support and develop Certified Trainers through evaluation, feedback, and ongoing communication.
Participate in community events and local clinical initiatives to strengthen regional credibility.
Track patient training metrics and documentation within CRM tools such as Salesforce.
Partner with cross‑functional sales teams to support adoption through clinical insights and aligned engagement strategies.
Complete administrative tasks in accordance with company guidelines and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
Associate degree required
Minimum 2 years of clinical or healthcare experience
Active clinical credentials/certifications (RN, RD, CDCES, PharmD, etc.) with appropriate state licensure
Experience educating patients and/or healthcare providers
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills
Ability to work independently in a field‑based role
Proficiency with clinical devices and technology platforms
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned territory
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs of training materials
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s degree
Experience training insulin pump users or supporting diabetes technology
Background in medical device or pharmaceutical industry roles
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
Experience working cross‑functionally with sales teams
