Key Responsibilities:
Emergency Response Leadership
Co-lead emergency codes, ensuring effective and accurate documentation and facilitating post-event debriefs that provide real-time coaching and feedback.
Engage in mock codes to enhance clinical readiness and drive continuous improvement.
Sepsis & Code Blue Program Support
Act as a vital member of the Code Blue and Sepsis Committees.
Respond to Sepsis Alerts and ensure timely completion of the Sepsis Bundle in collaboration with primary healthcare teams.
Monitor and maintain Code Blue/RRT & Sepsis databases to identify trends and report findings to Nursing Leadership.
Conduct audits to support performance improvement initiatives.
Clinical Rounding & Patient Follow-Up
Perform follow-up assessments on patients who activated Rapid Response Teams within the last 12-24 hours to evaluate their stability and clinical progress.
Help facilitate safe transfers and stabilization of high-acuity ICU admissions, ensuring smooth transitions to higher levels of care.
Expert Clinical Support & Mentorship
Provide on-site clinical support for various procedures including IV therapy, EKGs, and more.
Act as a clinical resource, coach, and mentor to nursing staff across units, enhancing their skill sets and confidence.
Consultative and Collaborative Role
Perform clinical assessments and serve as a liaison between nursing staff and providers, enhancing care outcomes.
Assist in provider communication and follow-ups to ensure timely and effective patient care delivery.
Available Positions: Full-time: 7a-7p & 7p-7a
Qualifications:
BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
Minimum two years of ICU experience required.
Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN, BLS and ACLS certification required; TNCC strongly preferred.
This position has a hiring range of $36.00 - $54.97 .
