Department/Unit: Neonatal ICU-B4 Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $76,396.32 - $126,730.61 We are seeking a dedicated full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, providing exceptional care to our tiniest patients. This position requires commitment to 3 x 12 hour shifts per week with a rotating schedule for weekends and holidays. Your Responsibilities: Implement physician orders with precision and administer medications. Start IVs, perform various procedures, and document all treatments according to established protocols. Order and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions. Conduct thorough assessments to determine patient needs and evaluate their responses to care. Utilize sound nursing judgment in managing patient care and emergencies. Administer both over-the-counter and prescription medications as prescribed. Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care for each patient. Guide ancillary personnel and uphold professional nursing standards. Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of a professional nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree). Current New York State Registered Nurse license. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
