Job Summary and Qualifications The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while overseeing unit functions during designated shifts. Collaborating with management, the CNC directs and assesses nursing care, serving as a resource for staff and embodying the organization's commitment to excellent patient experiences and clinical outcomes. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Facilitating admission and discharge processes to enhance patient throughput and care quality. Participating in quality assessments of care services within the unit. Collaborating with management to cultivate a teamwork-focused environment for improved patient and service outcomes. Supporting a patient-centered approach and engaging in service recovery efforts when needed. Implementing nursing strategies that improve staff engagement and patient care. Participating in the hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff and managing performance evaluations. Assisting with staff scheduling and optimizing labor resources based on patient needs. Managing inventory and ensuring appropriate supply levels for the department. Qualifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
