Job Summary and Qualifications The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a pivotal role in delivering top-tier, patient-centered care while overseeing all functions within the unit during designated shifts. In collaboration with fellow management team members, you will guide nursing care aligned with established policies and procedures, acting as a key resource for staff while embodying our organization's mission and values. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate patient admissions and discharges, ensuring efficient care processes. Evaluate the quality of patient care services provided within the unit. Promote teamwork among healthcare professionals to enhance service outcomes. Champion a patient-first philosophy, engaging in service recovery when necessary. Implement nursing strategies and initiatives to boost staff engagement. Assist in selecting, training, and evaluating new staff, fostering a skilled workforce. Manage staff scheduling and labor costs effectively, ensuring optimal patient care. Maintain inventory controls and manage clinical supplies and equipment. Qualifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is required. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is needed. Must possess a current Registered Nurse license. ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate is required within 60 days of employment. Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is mandatory.
