Job Title: Clinical Manager - Pediatrics Pay Range: $244,000/yr. - $381,300/yr. Job Summary Assists in the managing and directing of all pediatric clinical services across all urgent care centers. Is primarily responsible for the overall quality of care for all pediatric patients and all issues related to the clinical caregivers. Collaborates across and within regions to share resources, implement improvement initiatives, and optimize clinical, financial, operational and customer service performance. This role has a 25% administrative requirement and a 75% clinical requirement. Oversight of all pediatric clinical services; primarily responsible for the quality of care, clinical regulatory compliance, and the supervision of all clinical caregivers as it relates to the care of the pediatric patient
Work with National Learning/Training team to develop pediatric clinical guidelines and create a standard to ensure consistent pediatric care. These guidelines include pediatric protocols, clinical guidelines, and pediatric emergency preparedness.
Serves as the primary clinical leader and subject matter expert for all pediatric initiatives for the market.
Collaborates across and within regions to share resources, implement improvement initiatives, and optimize clinical and customer service performance in partnership with the relevant operational leader (operations director or VP) as it relates to the care of the pediatric patient
Responsible for oversight of pediatric clinical quality across the entire market including chart reviews as needed.
Continue to develop and support pediatric programs such as our Autism Friendly Designation in this market.
Education M.D. Degree or equivalent from an accredited College of Medicine Completion of Medical Residency with Board Certification or eligibility in pediatrics Work Experience Pediatrics experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or related field, preferably in a major medical center or health system, required
Outstanding communication and management skills, and an ability to work collaboratively with GoHealth staff, management, health system partners, required.
Must possess recent experience in generally accepted and currently used clinical methods and techniques
Required Licenses/Certifications Board Certified or Board Eligible by an ABMS member board or AOA specialty board in Pediatrics National Certification
Active state medical licensure
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Clinical skills commensurate with a practice of evidence-based care and knowledge of standard of care for all common urgent care diagnoses
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
Super-user level skills with a currently in-use electronic medical record
Strong experience and skills in presentation of clinical and administrative topics to audiences of clinical and non-clinical staff in both formal in informal settings
