Requirements: Education: Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing Certifications/Licenses: Current RN license or Compact state license; BLS Certification required or obtained within 2 weeks Skills: Current knowledge and skills appropriate to patient population served Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients' rights Communicates effectively Environment: Bloodborne pathogen C (OR, PACU, L & D); Bloodborne pathogen B (other Patient Care areas) Physical Requirements: Must be able to handle emergency/crisis situations Prolonged standing and walking Heavy physical effort required
