Clean Harbors is looking for a dedicated Class A CDL Driver to join our dynamic team. This role entails operating various heavy and light duty trucks and work equipment at our customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs. You will play a crucial part in driving and supporting hazardous waste clean-up efforts, both on and off customer sites. Key Responsibilities: Prioritize health and safety by complying with all work practices, policies, and regulations. Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers in a collaborative team environment. Effectively manage loading and unloading of trucks. Perform manual labor on site to meet customer needs. Ensure proper placarding of vehicles to comply with Company and DOT regulations. Maintain accurate daily logs, time sheets, and various reports. Adhere to all local, state, and federal compliance regulations. Safely operate vehicles in compliance with U.S. DOT and corporate guidelines. Perform other assigned duties as required. Be available for on-call emergency response duties on a rotating basis. Engage in site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials specific to your role. Required Qualifications: Must possess a valid Class A CDL. Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment. Comfortable using various mobile devices. Physically capable of performing job functions as required. Must successfully pass a background check, drug test, and physical assessment. Comply with OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard, which includes meeting facial hair requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a commercial driver. Having Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. Previous hazmat handling experience. Ability to operate a manual transmission. Experience in manual labor roles.
