Responsibilities Handle all aspects of discovery, including taking and defending depositions and managing written discovery Draft and argue motions in court, including motions for summary judgment and other key procedural motions Prepare comprehensive client status reports and case updates in a timely manner Develop case strategies and provide clear legal analysis to clients Attend hearings, settlement conferences, and other court appearances as needed Collaborate closely with senior attorneys to build trial-ready cases
Job Details
Requirements Bachelor’s degree and active California State Bar membership; open to newly admitted attorneys and those with up to 5 years of experience Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school strongly preferred Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Interest in working on a variety of defense matters, including toxic tort, transportation, and premises liability cases Commitment to professional development and a team-oriented mindset
