About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to provide strategic leadership and ensure the stability of IT operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day IT operations, managing a team of direct and indirect reports, and driving the rollout of a newly implemented Student Information System. Enhancing cybersecurity measures, supervising data reporting processes, and collaborating with senior leadership are also key aspects of the role. The CIO will be expected to support and mentor the IT team, ensure the effective use of essential systems, and lead ongoing technology initiatives to improve operational efficiency and the student technology experience.
This role requires a proactive individual with a strong attention to detail, adept at managing IT systems, and fostering collaboration across teams. Applicants for the CIO position at the company should have a proven track record in senior IT leadership, particularly within higher education or similar industries. Expertise in implementing and managing complex IT systems, including Student Information Systems, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data/reporting oversight, as well as exceptional diplomatic skills and the ability to work effectively with executive leadership. Experience in managing large-scale, multi-team technology initiatives under tight deadlines is also a key requirement.
