Scheduling Supervisor
The Scheduling Supervisor ensures the efficient daily operation of the scheduling department by overseeing team performance and supporting cross-departmental needs. Proficient in all departmental functions, the supervisor leads by example, fosters employee development, and promotes a positive work environment. Responsibilities include training, resolving employee issues in collaboration with HR, maintaining strong interdepartmental communication, and driving continuous improvement to ensure peak operational efficiency. Shares customer feedback and suggestions with relevant departments regularly. Conducts employee evaluations and provides coaching for performance improvement. Oversees departmental payroll and scheduling-related reporting. Develops training and certification materials for on-the-job learning. Communicates with employees via phone, letter, and in person. Enforces departmental and Centralized Scheduling policies and procedures. Supports operations by stepping into any Centralized Scheduling role as needed. Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies while modeling excellent customer service. Manages team performance and ensures deadlines are met. Leads training and development initiatives to build team capabilities. Collaborates with other departments to align scheduling processes with organizational needs. Addresses employee concerns and partners with HR and other departments when appropriate. Participates in union-related meetings as needed. Drives continuous improvement for departmental efficiency. Performs additional duties assigned by management. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be available to work on weekends and holidays, including Thursday through Sunday nights. Proficiency in Virtual Roster Required. Consistently maintains a positive and upbeat attitude. Demonstrates strong communication skills, including public speaking. Scheduling and administrative experience preferred but not required. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficient in 10-key and typing skills. Able to navigate all areas of the casino, including pit areas. Physically capable of bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, twisting, and gripping as needed.
