Pay: $25.00 per hour JOB SUMMARY As a CDL B Driver, you will be responsible for the timely delivery and pickup of containers at customer locations. Your role is crucial in providing safe, effective, and incident-free service, while building strong relationships with our valued customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Safely drive and operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers. Conduct and record daily pre and post-trip inspections of your vehicle and equipment. Be flexible and accept additional deliveries as necessary to accommodate business demands. Utilize a company handheld computer for efficient delivery verification and navigation. Operate a forklift and/or an overhead crane when required. Ensure containers are cleaned and inspected for presentation before delivery. Coordinate rental paperwork and payments with customers to ensure smooth transactions. Communicate any customer inquiries or issues to your Driver Lead or Market Manager and prepare necessary driver notes. Perform necessary repairs on containers and lifts either in the field or at the storage center. Assist with storage center operations when needed. Maintain the cleanliness of the truck cab, keeping it free from debris. Be open to performing other duties as assigned to support team objectives. MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position typically reports to Management, with direct supervisors including Market Manager or Territory Manager. This role does NOT involve direct employee management responsibilities. PAY RANGE: $25.00 per hour BENEFITS: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans are available. We offer Paid Time Off, Safety bonuses for drivers, as well as a boot voucher and uniform allowance. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Valid CDL Class B License required without air brake restriction. Must maintain a current and valid driver license. Must meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards. Aged 21 years or older (insurance requirement). Possess or be able to obtain a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate for a minimum of 1 year (DOT requirement). Familiarity with electronic equipment and software is preferred. Sufficient math skills to perform necessary tasks. Or possess an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
