$27.00 per hour JOB SUMMARY Join our team as a CDL B Driver! You will be responsible for safely delivering and picking up containers from various customer locations, ensuring a smooth and reliable service experience while building strong customer relationships. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Drive and operate a commercial truck equipped with a unique lift mechanism to safely load and unload containers at customer sites following all safety protocols. Conduct and log thorough pre and post-trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift. Be ready to accept additional delivery tasks as needed to meet business demands. Utilize a company-provided handheld computer for confirming deliveries and navigation assistance. Operate a forklift and/or an overhead crane safely and efficiently. Inspect and clean containers to ensure they meet customer presentation standards. Manage rental paperwork and processing payments with the customer. Communicate effectively with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer inquiries or operational issues, documenting necessary notes. Perform repairs on containers and lifts in the field or at the storage center. Provide backup for storage center functions as needed. Maintain a clean and organized truck cab, ensuring it is free from debris. Complete additional duties as assigned. MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position reports directly to management, with direct supervisors typically holding titles such as Market Manager or Territory Manager. Please note that this job does not directly manage other employees and is not involved in hiring, terminations, or pay decisions. Pay Range: $27.00 per hour Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance options available. Paid Time Off plans and Safety bonuses are also offered. Boot vouchers and uniforms will be provided. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must possess a valid CDL Class B License without air brake restrictions. Maintain a current and valid drivers license. Meet the PODS Driver Qualification Standards. Able to be at least 21 years of age (per insurance requirements). Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or the ability to obtain a minimum of one year certification (DOT requirement). Familiarity with electronic equipment and software preferred. Basic math skills necessary to perform job duties. Willingness to undertake a two-week New Hire Driver Training Program.
