Pay: $25.00 per hour JOB SUMMARY Join our dedicated team as a CDL B Driver, responsible for the timely and efficient delivery and pickup of containers to and from customer locations. We prioritize safety and customer satisfaction, ensuring your every delivery is effective and incident-free. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism to safely load and unload containers at customer sites while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct daily pre and post-trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift, logging any issues encountered. Be flexible to accept additional delivery requests based on business demands. Utilize a company-provided handheld computer for delivery confirmation and navigation assistance. Safely operate a forklift and/or overhead crane as needed. Inspect and clean containers to ensure they meet our quality standards for delivery. Handle rental paperwork and payment processing efficiently with customers. Maintain clear communication with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer inquiries or issues, preparing detailed notes as necessary. Perform minor repairs on containers and lifts both in the field and at our storage center. Assist with storage center operations when required, providing essential backup support. Maintain the cleanliness of your truck cab, keeping it free from debris inside and outside. May be assigned additional tasks as needed to support our operations. MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Reports directly to Management, with typical supervisory titles including Market Manager and Territory Manager. This position does not involve managing other employees in terms of hiring, pay decisions, or performance management. PAY RANGE: $25.00 per hour. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Valid CDL Class B License required, without air brake restriction. Must maintain a current, valid driver license. Must fulfill PODS Driver Qualification Standards. Minimum age requirement of 21 years (insurance necessity). A valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or the ability to obtain a minimum one-year certification (DOT requirement). Preferably have hands-on experience with electronic devices and software. Possess competent math skills for necessary duties. Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience. Able to complete a 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program.
