Position Purpose: As a food delivery driver, you play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency of the food supply chain. You will be responsible for delivering products to customers on time and in good condition while fostering positive relations with them. Your Responsibilities Include: Communicating professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers. Performing pre/post trip safety checks to ensure compliance with DOT regulations. Driving to deliver customer orders following predetermined routes. Unloading products and ensuring they reach designated areas safely. Completing delivery paperwork accurately and maintaining records as per federal and company requirements. Ensuring all items are delivered securely and that damaged goods are reported and handled correctly. Managing customer returns and securing all items at the end of the shift. Maintaining cleanliness in your tractor and the loading dock area. Performing other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum 12 months commercial driving experience. High school diploma/GED or equivalent. Valid CDL A. Must be at least 21 years old and have a clean Motor Vehicle Report for the past 3 years. Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check. Obtain a valid DOT Health Card. Able to lift and transport product cases/freight of varying sizes and weights (up to 90 pounds).
