RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB DETAILS
  • Personal Care Assistance and Services such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating
  • Transporting clients to and from appointments, errands, and activities (must have valid DL & Insurance)
  • Medication reminders and assist clients with ambulation
  • Preparing nutritious meals and shopping for groceries or other essentials
  • Light housekeeping
  • Protective supervision
  • Social interaction/behavior modification activities as directed by the Plan of Care.
  • Assist with range of motion
  • Report and Document any changes in clients condition to Supervisor

REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be Certified as a CNA (Nursing Assistant Certification or HCA (Home Care Aide) in the State of Washington
  • Must be able to provide proof of valid Driver's license and Auto Insurance
  • Empathy and the ability to care for the client's social, emotional, physical, and mental health
  • Open to help with personal care
  • Proficient in some domestic chores such as preparing meals and cleaning
  • Trained in specialized areas of care, for example, geriatrics, dementia, or Alzheimer's disease
  • Open to working around pets and smoking
  • Available for consistent shifts throughout the Pierce County area -Tacoma, Lakewood, Puyallup, Gig Harbor and surrounding areas
